Unfortunately, CDO is no longer able to handle the load of WebTiles games and there has been a lot of lag recently. Everybody will be able to finish their games, but new character creation has been disabled – for now. I plan to migrate to a new server during this year (hopefully in time for the autumn tourney) and there may be the possibility to reactivate WebTiles then. DGL games will continue to work.
Anyone willing to host a WebTiles server, especially in Europe, please let us know in The Tavern. For now there are WebTiles servers available in the US.

Awful news, for most european players, myself included, US server are much more laggy than CDO webtiles – even if understress like now

Does there being an Autumn tourney mean we won’t see 0.12 until Autumn? I’m sooo excited for it’s release and I can’t find a release date, either set or tentative…

I, for one, hail this decision. ASCII games have long been slow occasionally.

Why should the ASCII version work and the webtiles not? Just have players save the files to their computer and the online version link to the local files..

Hi, is the old server down now? Me and my brother have been playing a mummy wizard (summoner) together and are worried if we have lost our character.
It is the first time that we really got a character that might be able to win the game
(level 26) and we are pretty excited.
If the old server is down, could it be possible to import the old character to the new server somehow?

Just curious, how heavy is the load? It doesn’t seem like it would be much at all. Is it a bandwidth issue? RAM issue? Other?
