Hi crawlers – here’s another round of last minute tune-ups to 0.14:
- Formicids can no longer wield giant (spiked) clubs and have slightly adjusted aptitudes.
- Throwing nets no longer degrade; instead they mulch similar to other projectiles.
- Fighters start with a potion of might.
- Swinging a chaos weapon no longer polymorphs or shafts the attacker.
- The shopping interface has been simplified.
- Spells can be memorised even at 100% failure rate.
- Picking up runes in Pandemonium increases the chances of exits being generated.

what’s up with no trunk build? (granted once I learned how to pull from git from reddit I started doing that and will continue to do so, had issues before but a reddit guide seriously helped me out a ton,)

The trunk build system hasn’t been brought back online since the recent server move. Our server admin is working on it; please be patient! :)

Love all the work!
I am sad about some of the recent changes, shortening dungeon removes some of the epic feel of DCSS and taking away racial armor takes away fun flavor

Yeah, maybe crawl is on its trip to simplicity now, and will back to add more superfluous elements when they get tired of simplicity. It’s a cycle.
