Summary 0005226: Stasis lets you waste haste
Description Put on stasis. Quaff a potion of speed. Congratulations, you just wasted a potion of speed and a turn and came that much closer to dying.

 Warn if speed is identified, otherwise have the amulet shriek as normal on unidentified.

 Uhm, why has this been fixed? You get "Your amulet of stasis emits a piercing whistle.", very loud noise is produced, a wand charge and/or mana is wasted and you lose a turn.

In fact, I'm not aware of any enchantment beam that would abort just because its target is immune.

 Ah, that commit indeed fixed potions, but not other sources of haste.

 Identified wands should prompt the player with an (optional) warning so they aren't wasted.
