Purge all of Pan from our midst
Our dear brother Sir Kilobyte fought long and true to remove all of the demonic
realm...but he did not strike the finishing blow! Pan lives on, biding its
time, hiding in forgotten reaches of our Holy Tree. We must truly Remove All of
Pan, lest this unholy menace rise up to destroy us all. In the name of The
Shining One, I cast you out, unclean spirit!

Anyone care to explain?

There used to be a unique called Pan. There were some bits left, descriptions or something.

Someone wrote a patch with a bad commit message and then someone else pushed it without changing it.

(The patch in question removes some leftover speech lines).

Well, I didn't hear anyone *complain.* Wondering why Pan wasn't a good unique, gameplay-wise, seems on-topic for GDD. And it's been asked and well-answered :)

They could remove lots of stuff and I wouldn't complain about it.
