I'm outside the entrance of the swamp. I wait, but I don't get healed. I guess that there is some monster in hiding somewhere, activating low regen for ghoul? I think you shouldn't be able to rest in such conditions.

There are often swamp worms hiding under the water tiles.

Probably it is a good idea to report to Mantis as bug. At least the rest should automatically stop before 100 turns with message like "Resting does not increase HP, there should be some invisible monster somewhere".

Also I think low regen is flavored as "you do not regenerate when monsters are in view", which should exclude invisible monsters
