Torpor Snail, bug or feature

So my TrBe has been gleefully slaughtering everything in the Lair. He invoked berserk rage to clear out a flock of dream sheep, when a torpor snail wandered by. The red mist cleared and just the snail was left standing. One claw swipe and the snail breathed no more, and TrBe was suddenly moving much faster. Odd, usually slow from berserk takes several AUT to clear. So experienced crawlers, bug or feature?

I'm not a dev but removing torpor snail could be a good way to solve this bug!
