The grand grimoire is marked in red and its desctiption says Elyvilon dislikes it, but ey has no problems with Monstrous Menagerie, or with me learning the spell from that book.

 For the record, this is intentional; if more than half of the spells are disliked, the book is marked as disliked. This is probably a bad thing.
