Summary | 0009589: Shift+click / Shift+tab leads to going closer to the enemy instead of throwing a missile | |||||||||||
Description |
Normally, either of those commands should work essentialy as autofight_throw: makes your character throw a missile at the enemy (stones, javelins, etc.) or use melee when the enemy is right before you. However, sometimes the character just goes toward the target instead, just trying to fight melee. I am perfectly sure I still have plenty of missiles when such occurs. I use those instead of (f)iring and autofight_throw (unless I need to aim in the specific manner) for convenience purpose. However, when this happens, it makes things worse and already costed me a character or two. It happens randomly and I am clueless what triggers it, but it's not very rare. Additionally, screenshot shows what I got in message log after using shift+tab against a phantom who already got upclose to me, while the mentioned bug was present. -- Win XP SP3, x32 |
