Summary | 0009223: CTRL-F and CTRL-X output is wrong (about corpses) and can cause an unescapable hang | ||||||||||||
Description |
Saved game: http://crawl.develz.org/saves/dumps/TAS2012-5684410-141119-0817.tar.bz2 [^] The output of CTRL-F and CTRL-X is wrong and this is reproducible at least in this game. After selecting the letter for travel/view I've also had the game hang until PuTTY said the connection timed out, but at other times it is just confused and travel doesn't take me anywhere, this is not consistently reproducible. This is a bug recently introduced on CDO that was probably not there yesterday. CTRL-F + "corpse" output: 16 matches: travel [toggle: !], show stacks [-], by dist [/], show useless [=] a - [Lair:8] a dwarf skeleton a - [Lair:8] a minotaur skeleton a - [Lair:8] a death yak corpse a - [Lair:8] an elf skeleton a - [Lair:8] a dwarf skeleton a - [Lair:8] a human skeleton a - [Lair:8] an elephant corpse a - [Lair:8] a dwarf skeleton a - [Lair:8] a dwarf skeleton a - [Lair:8] a wolf corpse a - [Lair:8] a yak corpse (skeletalised by now) a - [Lair:8] a yak corpse (skeletalised by now) a - [Lair:8] a spiny frog corpse a - [Lair:8] an elf skeleton a - [Lair:8] an adder corpse (skeletalised by now) a - [Lair:8] a water moccasin corpse (skeletalised by now) CTRL-X output: Visible Monsters/Items (select to view/travel, '!' to examine): Monsters a - (3) a soul eater (friendly and summoned) b - (Z) a seven-headed hydra zombie (friendly) Items c - (() 2 arrows c - (() a bolt c - (†) a death yak corpse c - (÷) a dwarf skeleton c - (÷) a dwarf skeleton c - (÷) an elf skeleton c - (÷) a human skeleton c - (÷) a minotaur skeleton Actual situation: ???????????? ?? ···········? ???·? 3 soul e ater ··········?? ????????···?? To be clear: the output of the commands lists the same letter/location for several things that are actually at different locations. Seems to affect most (but not all, see above) things, here is a CTRL-F for orc: 3 matches: travel [toggle: !], show stacks [-], by dist [/], show useless [=] a - [Lair:8] an orc skeleton a - [D:11] a staircase to the Orcish Mines a - [D:10] a book of Wizardry They are not at the same location as can be seen from the level information. |
