Summary | 0008753: Unintended stat-zero when items merge into body. | ||||||
Description |
When changing form (tested with vampire changing to bat form) your items all merge into your body at the same time, but for the purpose of stat-zeroing this is not the case. Your items merge into your body in a particular order and at any stage if the items that haven't merged cause one of the your stats to hit zero then you get stat-zero effects. The result is you can get stat-zero despite the fact that your initial state and final state have positive values for all stats. This can be tested easily by equipping a vampire (6str) with gloves of strength and a -3 ring of strength. Then change to bat form. This can result in very tedious organising of gear. In my current game I have to put my rings on the correct hands so that they merge in correct order, otherwise i get stat-zero. Because final state doesn't have any zero stat you don't get warned either. |
