0008328: Display number of items to be dropped on multidrop screen when dropping partial stacks

Description

Dropping partial stacks is one of the things that frequently confuses new players and is pretty poorly displayed by the interface: even when you know how to do it, there's no visual feedback when choosing how much to drop. While entering a number, there should be immediate visual feedback, displaying something like "Quantity: x" in the inventory menu title, for example:

(Burden: 15/404 aum) Drop what? (Quantity: 5) (_ for help)

Once an item is selected, "d # 12 apples" is probably still okay since there's only a few characters free in between the item slot and item name. "d # 12 apples (dropping 5)" might also be an improvement, but seems a little less neat.

(0028953) Sandman25 (reporter) 2015-04-22 03:03	I started working on it and then realized that it makes no sense. There is no item destruction, no item weight, Ashenzari curses one scroll with every prayer. The only reason to drop part of a stack is when you want to have empty slot after paying scrolls/potions to trove. Am I missing something?
