Description _You kill the tentacled monstrosity!
 While you don't manage to break free from DEAD MONSTER, you feel that another

Was constricted by an X, killed it, tried to move or eat-- I forget which -- was given the above message.

 I didn't realize there was a Constr status flag but on going back to the game it was still present and I even busted out of constriction on my next move:

_You escape DEAD MONSTER's grasp.

 Fixed in trunk (8111c56). Re-open if you encounter other constriction-related messages with "DEAD MONSTER", or crashes involving constriction and dead monsters.
