Summary 0004975: bugs with flaming (freezing) weapons (activation/messages)
Description You can hit something with a flaming weapon and do no damage, but still get additional flame damage. I believe this is different from pre-UCC. Additionally I think message order is also wrong:

 You slash the giant slug!
 The giant slug is severely wounded.
 You burn the giant slug. You peck the giant slug.


It should be this, no?

 You slash the giant slug!
 You burn the giant slug. You peck the giant slug.
 The giant slug is severely wounded.

Players can have no weapon damage but get brand damage, I'm told this was pre-ucc functionality...but the order of the messages is off.

I noticed message order being off in this way with something else also, but I don't remember the situation.

About the additional flame damage on a zero-damage hit, it turns out that this was actually the case pre-UCC also... you always get at least 1 point of flaming (or freezing) damage. This is a bit weird, but perhaps not bad.

Order should be fixed in trunk by delaying all injury messages until the near-end of combat.
