Summary | 0002931: Commandline parameters -sprint and -zotdef ignored if no name given | |||||||||||
Description |
Among other lines, the commandline help ("crawl -?" etc.) also lists "-sprint" and "-zotdef", neither of which actually appear to do anything. I simply land in the normal starting menu. If this is only supposed to work for the servers, there's no mention of that in the command listing. Aaah... testing this further, it appears that you only arrive at the starting menu if the name isn't predefined (as will always be the case on the servers). Still, incredibly confusing. Why not directly take the player to the next menu and ask for the name afterwards, like happens if you skip the name at the beginning? |
