Summary | 0011924: Wolf spider breaks autoexplore
Description | With a wolf spider behind a closed translucent door (specifically a ghost vault), autoexplore will not engage, telling the player "A wolf spider is nearby!" But wolf spiders can't open doors and can't get out of the vault, so I think this is a bug.

What's weird, it's only wolf spider that breaks it, other monsters seem to be alright. Here is back up: http://crawl.kelbi.org/saves/Yermak-crawl-git-6074511092-190414-2118.tar.bz2 [^] |

I haven't had time to dig further into it but this is caused by clinging in some form (and the pathfinding algorithm thinking that clinging monsters can path through runed doors, perhaps?). My preferred fix would be to remove clinging. |

Thanks for the bug report and for the save; now fixed at 323ad4e9fb1d! Clinging remains, for now... |
