0010083: wrong message?: (but will be slowed by your insufficient shield skill)

Description

Playing a troll wielding a two handed giant club of speed. I have no shield. I press @ and receive these messages:

You are alive. Your movement speed is average.
Your attack speed is very fast (and cannot be improved with additional skill)
(but will be slowed by your insufficient shield skill).
Your base attributes are Str 23, Int 11, Dex 14.
You are almost entirely resistant to hostile enchantments.
_You are extremely unstealthy.
