This might be a minor point but if this is ever fixed, something needs to be done to Zot trap generation in Tomb. Stairdancing is a pretty popular solution to W:2 and W:3, and having a Zot trap next to all those stairs might be problematic. |

I always assumed that this behavior was intentional; it's a bit weird, but it would also be weird if monsters triggered traps this way that they would normally refuse to step on. Intelligent monsters normally refuse to trigger teleport traps if they can walk around them, for instance, and intelligent allies refuse to trigger Zot traps... it doesn't seem great if they do just because they were following you through stairs. |

Fixed in 1a204a1fb and 94533af8, including tweaks from elliptic's comment. Hopefully this isn't too abuseable.
(w.r.t. Sar's comment: I would consider 'stairdancing triggering zot traps' to be a plus.)
