Henzell says...
  1. A new species in 0.33, replacing vampire species (now playable through {vampire talisman}s). Is undead & insubstantial: rC+ rN∞ rPois∞ rHoly--- rSticky rNet rConstrict. Has 6 interchangeable aux slots (see [2]), gets AC through debuffs (see {trickster}), and an xp-timed ability at XL 13 (see {cacophony}).
  2. Poltergeists have 6 interchangeable aux slots- each slot can use any of hats, helmets, gloves, boots, cloaks, and scarves. Body armour and bardings are too heavy for them, and they still only wield one weapon and one offhand.
  3. Poltergeists have mostly the same apts as vampires. They have worse Strength and -3 UC (no physical fists), +2 Throwing (for darts), and -1/+1/+1/- Fire / Ice / Air / Earth instead of -2/0/0/0 element apts. They still have +4 Hexes, but there's lots of other ways to inflict debuffs: see {trickster[2]}.
