- Magical staves have a (2*evoc + magic skill)/30 chance of getting random2(1.25*(magic skill + evoc/2)) extra elemental damage (for earth this is increased by 1/3). Never triggers with 0 evoc. This damage ignores AC, checking the appropriate resistance instead, except for conjurations. Earth checks AC and does 1/3 damage to flyers.
