There&#8217;s been enough changes this week for a slightly early update:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The new_nemelex branch has landed:<\/li>\n<ul>\n<li>Nemelex<\/li>\n<ul>\n<li>Nemelex only gives piety for exploration rather than item sacrifices or\u00a0deck usage.<\/li>\n<li>Peek at Two now reveals the top cards of a deck but cannot be used with\u00a0other Nemelex abilities<\/li>\n<li>Nemelex now only gifts decks of war and escape.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li>Cards<\/li>\n<ul>\n<li>New cards<\/li>\n<ul>\n<li>Fortitude, which gives Damage Shaving and a bonus to strength.<\/li>\n<li>Storm, which can make shallow water, a tornado, or cause swiftness.<\/li>\n<li>Degeneration, which polymorphs nearby monsters into weaker ones.<\/li>\n<li>Shaft, which creates a shaft under the player. This is an old effect of the Flight card.<\/li>\n<li>Illusion, which summons an illusion of the player.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li>Revamped cards<\/li>\n<ul>\n<li>Flame card now spawns flame clouds around the user and on hostiles rather\u00a0than dealing damage.<\/li>\n<li>Velocity card now hastes the slow and slows hasty rather than simply\u00a0speeding up the player.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li>Warp, Portal, Hammer, Spark, Flight, and Genie cards have been removed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li>Decks of War now contain the Dowsing and Potion cards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">The chance of corroding equipment no longer considers item enchantment<\/span><\/li>\n<li>I<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">tem destruction of scrolls and potions has been completely removed.<\/span><\/li>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonspawn facets which gave potion\/scroll item conservation now give freezing\/fire\u00a0cloud immunity earlier and separately.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li>Halflings have rebalanced aptitudes, shifting them towards defense.<\/li>\n<li>Kobolds no longer have disease resistance.<\/li>\n<li>Tukima&#8217;s Dance now animates weapons held by monsters. The weapons will fight against their former owners. It is also now level 3.<\/li>\n<li>Spider Form now moves at normal speed.<\/li>\n<li>Some ability icons have new tiles.<\/li>\n<li>All types of fruit have been merged together into one item type.<\/li>\n<li>Cheese and sausages are no more.<\/li>\n<li>New unrand: the +6 Majin-Bo {vamp, Archmagi, MP+6 Int+6}. A quarterstaff\u00a0that takes HP every time you cast a spell.<\/li>\n<li>The dagger of Chilly Death now sometimes flash-freezes enemies, slowing their\u00a0movement.<\/li>\n<li>The scimitar of Flaming Death now sometimes applies sticky flame to its victims.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Happy crawling!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi crawlers!
