Tiles Server Support is the dream of a lot of people, including the development team. However, it’s a very hard task, and certain serious technical obstacles to it only just now fell away/are starting to fall away.

The Shoals, for example, were a dream since 0.3. They waited a long time, but they arrived. Hopefully with time we’ll see another Server Tiles Support post in the future — and this time not on April 1st!
