I know the freeforums.org site is not ideal. However, it was easy and quick. I’d consider moving it but I don’t have the time right now to do all the extra technical work involved.

I’m still not seeing any ads, and never have. No idea why, though. (I’m not an admin on that board or anything that might explain it.)

Both speed and ads probably depend largely on system and browser.

Using a third-party to host your forum raises many problems. For example some third party logs all visitors. And how do you backup that forum?
