It seems like the felids are a great race to introduce someone to the game, they don’t need to worry about lots of item management and if they play Trog, they don’t even need to worry about what spells to learn/train.

In any case, incredible job. Every release this game gets better and better and better!

Thank you for all the great feedback! Unfortunately, these comments are not so nicely suited to discuss about features (felids) or answer questions (fresh score-table). I invite everybody to head over to the Tavern for questions or discuss details in the Wiki. Remember: Register to the bug-tracker once and use that login for all other services as well. Don, Mac OS X binaries of 0.8 have been uploaded in the meantime. Felids probably don't show up because you loaded 0.7.1. Check the Downloads page again, please. Brad, please file a bug-report and give us more detailed information about what version of Mac OS X you are running. Axaxas, 0.8 will be available on CAO soon. Stay tuned! Good work, everybody! I’ve been looking forward to this. As far as I can tell, though, CAO isnt serving the new version yet — at the main menu, it just offers me 0.7.2, trunk and EroCrawl. What’s up?

I’m trying to download mac os x version 8.0, but when I try to open it, I get:
“You can’t open the application “dungeon Crawl Stone Soup” because it is not supported on this architecture.”
Does anyone have a fix for this?

Regarding Felids: -2 Unarmed Combat? Really? Also, -2 Ice magic despite IE being a recommended option? This is a bit odd.

“felids are fast and come with claws and fangs, making them excellent at unarmed combat” I’m confused here as in game their aptitude for UC is -2?
