I am suggesting a change to the default weapon for this class.

Presently all start with a short sword, and this seems to be rather quite under powered. I understand given all the other great things they start with, that it may either not go in, or would result in a nerf, and I have some suggested nerfs: Start with one less wand. Start with less-good bacis weapons (club, dagger, etc). Start with a point less in the weapon skill.

With the new rod of striking, perhaps they could get it back? The rod would need to be nerfed, as you shouldn't get an endgame-worthy item in your starting kit, but it's not something useless anymore. — KiloByte 2013-11-27 23:01
