[CIP -> YASD] SpEn of Ash - Clarity vs. *Confuse

Dear All,

I'm trying hard not to kill my n'th SpEn this tournament. My track record is abysmal.

However I have a specific question: will a *Confuse ego override my Ash-clarity (or any clarity in general).
The reason? I found this beauty:

   (You bought it in a shop on level 4 of the Dungeon)   
   
   In the hands of one skilled in necromantic magic, it inflicts extra damage
   on living creatures.
   
   It protects you from fire.
   It protects you from cold.
   It may confuse you when you take damage.


My gut feeling is that clarity should override the *Confuse ego, but I do not trust 0.18 at all.

Any suggestions?

If it doesn't override *confuse you should report a bug.
