Old Stone Soup versions

Hello, guys!

Can you please tell me where I can find old Stone Soup versions? (say 0.3.0 and above)

The game changes quite severely after each patch, but I would like to experience what it's like to play a Grey Elf, a Gnome, a Mountain Dwarf or any other old features.

Thanks for the quick reply! I was wondering if there would be a page with different versions with tiles that are already compiled?

Btw are all of those non-compiled versions on Github with tiles or without ?

Yes.

(whether tiles or console is used depends on a compile-time define. you can see that passing 'TILES=y' to `make` command is how you do that.
This may or may not apply to versions before 0.8.0, I don't know for sure.)

Re: Old Stone Soup versions

I wrote a version of 0.16.1 with sludge elves a while back that I could send you somehow if you wanted. It doesn't have save file comparability with the main crawl version line though, so don't try to transfer saves. (This makes me wonder if anyone would like a 0.17.1 version with mountain dwarves...)

I achieved greatplayer in less than a year.

Nah, thanks, mate. It's not just the races, but also the old monsters and features that I want to experience.
