New title logo

We would like to use the same logo across all title screens. By logo I mean a title ("Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup") in a cool font. It would be nice if the logo could contain the cauldron icon or some variation of it. It needs to be neutral enough to fit with title images of different style with just some colour changes. I've created an implementable on Mantis for that. Please, submit your beautiful creations there.

This forum has the functionality to show a centered logo at the very top, but it's currently disabled. I'd like to use the final logo here, too. Please keep us posted.

Nothing special, but I did this only to find an idea:

The idea it's to use the cauldron smoke to start draw a letter (in that case, the "G"). I even try to use the smoke to start the "stone soup" (cause the line seems to be an "S") but I didn't pleased me :)

Yukuai, the second one is quite cool IMHO, showing what's about to come ingame.

Almost makes me want to take up tiles (I won't) ;)

It's pretty but a bit too flashy to my taste. Especially the cauldron, which is too shiny. The idea of using the cauldron smoke to make the g is great but not very well done. I still like Denzi's one better.

Yeah, I think if the entire "g" were made of smoke (or even the whole title) it would be better.

I wonder if we could start dropping the "Stone Soup" part. This is pretty clearly the definitive dungeon crawl project.

Nah, the original Dungeon Crawl is, though obviously Stone Soup is a great game (and imo, much better). If anything, I think it'd be cooler to change the name to Stone Soup: Dungeon Crawl, or something like that. It's fine the way it is imo though.

Looks pretty good. Maybe the cauldron could be the 'o' of Stone to center it more.
I never would drop the 'Stone Soup' part, because it is in toa way the definition of the whole project (many people give each a little condiment and in this way a stone (core Linley's Dungeon Crawl) plus water (tiles) transform to a delicacy soup.

...Some travellers come to a village, carrying nothing more than an empty cooking pot. Upon their arrival, the villagers are unwilling to share any of their food stores with the hungry travellers. The travellers fill the pot with water, drop a large stone in it, and place it over a fire in the village square. One of the villagers becomes curious and asks what they are doing. The travellers answer that they are making "stone soup", which tastes wonderful, although it still needs a little bit of garnish to improve the flavor, which they are missing. The villager does not mind parting with just a little bit of carrot to help them out, so it gets added to the soup. Another villager walks by, inquiring about the pot, and the travellers again mention their stone soup which has not reached its full potential yet. The villager hands them a little bit of seasoning to help them out. More and more villagers walk by, each adding another ingredient. Finally, a delicious and nourishing pot of soup is enjoyed by all...

Neat concept. I think that a cauldron would have a rigid handle though, not a strap.
