If you have a weapon of holy wrath, curse weapon can't curse it, but you still spend the exp towards spellcasting.

It's a bad idea to do so in an ossuary though, at least those wide open ones. Losing a few potions to decay when you kill the mummies is unfortunate, but being forced to retreat from a crowd of mummies you can't kill, leaving all your potions inside? That's just awful.
