Q about spell power caps
This is probably a stupid question, but here goes.
Does the ability to land a spell on an enemy that requires a check against their magic resistance continue to go up even after maximum spell power is reached for that spell if I continue to increase the governing spell school skills for that spell?
For example, even if I get Petrify up to maximum power, can I still continue to increase my chances of successfully landing that spell on a monster if I continue to increase Earth and Transmutations skills? If not, is this the case for all spells, or are there exceptions (maybe for direct damage dealing spells)?
