You don't need to hear all the whiny details. But suffice it to say, like all the other losers, I finally had a good run going, actually got an awesome god gift from Oku for once (an actual usable weapon! sabre of speed with resists and stat bonuses! and a +5 dagger of electrocution of my very own) yadda yadda yadda. Effin uber orc hit me with a thrown club for 17+ damage and killed me as I ran to safety. So, I guess, quaff the potion of heal wound first, huh?

but seriously: fuck this game. i am slave to it.

LOL, I know that feeling.
I feel like a crawl junkie sometimes, waiting on my next fix/rune;
Only to die and feel completely empty, reroll, try to quit, relapse... repeat while 1==1
Crawl is to computers what crack is to glass tubes. Ha!
Maybe someday there will be a crawl rehab center and I can get clean... Anyhoo, it's time for my next fix.

Being a terrible player, I've found it's much easier to play races which have high health. I figure if people can win with spriggans who have 150 hp, then my terrible tabbing through the entire game newbie self ought to be able to do it with someone who has 300 hp, right? <3 me some statue form

I play my spriggans a little paranoid. Pretty much the second I get my mid level stuff hunger free I just dump everything in to dodging forever.
