Option to make unexplored tiles transparent

Possibility to switch black (unexplored) tiles into transparent ones could be awesome (as for me).
Sometimes movies or TV are on the screen to but crawl is almost fullscreen so I'm tired of reducing movie or TV windows.
May there are any ways to DIY and if so I'd be grateful if somebody tell me.

May be I'm not alone and such a switch will be useful for many peoples?

Sorry for my English.

Unexplored tiles are transparent.

It's just the background of the window or web browser that's black.

Technically, it's possible. Anything is possible.

But, it's extremely difficult, and considering how distracting it'd be having video playing through Crawl's background, I doubt any developer is going to bother investing weeks of work to achieve this.

Just buy a second monitor.

For the record, I also Crawl and watch TV at the same time. I guess the reason I have no screen problems is because I play Console :P

Topic moved to Interface & Software.
And no I highly doubt anybody will find it interesting to implement this feature request. Just play in a smaller window (read options_guide.txt if you don't know how to) or use a second monitor.

Re: Option to make unexplored tiles transparent

It's technically possible to implement, isn't it? GDI+ lets you specify parts of the window to make transparent.
