Crystal Balls are confusingly named.
Staff of Energy
Crystal Ball of Energy
From the names of these two items, one would think that their operation is somewhat similar, but in fact they are completely different.
The crystal ball is more similar to the staff of channeling, though probably different enough that it would cause confusion if they both used "channeling".
Perhaps the crystal ball would be better renamed to "of magic", though with all the other types of crystal ball being removed as of the current version, it might be better to simply rename the remaining one to "Crystal Ball".
