Yo, dpeg, you might want to start quaff IDing to find yourself a Potion of Chill. It's Yiuf's, not GDD.

I take it you're under a bit of stress from the various recent backlashes to decisions that you presumably had a hand in?

Megabass: Yes, I missed the Crazy Yiuf part.

The funniest thing is that I have to manually "approve" of all the blog comments. Ticking a box "approve" for every single one, no matter how stupid it is :)

I absolutely don't regret the MD cut. In fact, it wasn't my idea to cut a species, although I supported the idea as soon as it was mentioned. And I did push for keeping Mi rather than MD. However, I am not at all alone in this, just the communication tool. Also, I know damn well what I've done for this game. Players can bark all day, but new players will come (to whom the issue matters very little) and I actually know what I am doing here. (As opposed to the first version of the AC reform, for example, where I stumbled in the dark.)

Seriously though every new version has been a big improvement as long as I have been around and Octopodes are great fun.

What about the Megadwarf (like an ordinary dwarf but bigger, like a megabat is to a bat)? Or the Red Dwarf (has an INT score of 6000, but after three million years floating in space, he forgot everything he knew)? Or the Seven Dwarf (when equipped with the Seven Axe, can split into seven different dwarves, each with his own annoying personality trait)? Or the Munchkin (looks sort of like a dwarf, gets +8 to all stats and skills, can only walk on yellow brick roads)?

Yes, I've create the anorexic dwarf.

Can't eat anything but can quaff potion of water, and have slow metabolism 3.
When starving, instead of randomly passing out, randomly have a "scroll of fear" effect. If get full satiation (or over), loose turns vomiting until reach near starving.

Yeah, but that might be too similar to the Yeek race we're stealing from ToME.

And what about the Guinea Pig race? The Library Elf race? The Twothirdsling race? With all this stuff scheduled for 0.12 the DevTeam will be spreading themselves thin and it'll all suck!
