Mara: Enslave Soul or flee?

I'm in vaults 3 and Mara appears at the edge of my vision. Ideally I want to enslave Mara, thereby adding 3 more demon weapons of electrocution to my murder squad. But the risks are high!
I have rF+++ (but my army doesn't).
I only have rElec in the form of Staff of Air, but as a Gnoll I can use it moderately competently as a weapon.
At my current Invocations level I have about 11-12 turns to enslave something. I might struggle to get the job done in 11 turns, but my army could if they could get to him and focus just him.
If I cast Enslave Soul on Mara before he splits, all 3 Maras will be enslavable for 11-12 turns, but killing an illusion Mara will not kill the others (then it's 1 Mara + me vs 2 Maras).
If I cast Enslave Soul on Mara after he splits, I can only cast it on the real Mara, thereby divining which is the real Mara, but only having one enslavable target and 2 distractions.
There is a solid chance Mara could clone my Servitor instead of me, which would also be pretty dangerous.
I could also just teleport immediately, recall allies, and write off Vaults 3 for a good long while in the hopes of executing this plan more successfully later/never.
Any advice?
