Cones: wand of clouds and wand of scattershot

Although the central place for design discussion is ##crawl-dev on freenode, some may find it helpful to discuss requests and suggestions here first.

Cones: wand of clouds and wand of scattershot

Recently cones of these two wands were identical. But today I noticed a weird change in the scattershot cone: being aimed orthogonally it starts with width 3, not 1 as before. This is a nerf for wand of scattershot, and I don't think it was intentional, since there are no commits on this topic (could it be a side effect of recent changes to lightning rod, which is somewhat releveant to wands and aiming?).

Anyway, I'd like to see cones for these two wands swapped, restoring status quo for scattershot and slightly buffing clouds. (Remember, Glaciate in its first incarnation had width of 1 at start too and then it was changed to 3.)

Re: Cones: wand of clouds and wand of scattershot

Cones feel a bit clunky in grids. Sometimes aiming at certain angles allows some strange options like selectively attacking monsters. Or aiming through a narrow opening allows making thin patterns.

I have no solution, except to remove cones and replace with more obvious patterns, like 3x3 fields, or straight lines.

Never mind. Apparently, width of scattershot cone depends on Evocations skill.
