Music thread

If it doesn't fit anywhere else, it belongs here. Also, come here if you just need to get hammered.

Music thread

DCSS doesn't have any music. But I bet that some people here frequently listen to their own music during the game, to embrace the atmosphere of the game, or maybe during some moments during the game.

Are you listening to the music during the game? What music, in your opinion, is the best for some individual uniques (boss themes)/locations/death/victory? Post your music here, guys.

Re: Music thread

I never use music when playing this game -- the sound of my sobbing/crying throughout the entirety of my play time is more than enough noise :')
My lack of individuality frightens me.

Re: Music thread

People who listen to anything other than trip hop are probably too worked up to have calm, focused games.

Fine fine, that's not really true, but I do tend to listen to a lot of downbeat, calm music, sung by women, from the 90's. I guess I have a type. Florence and the Machine (somewhat more recent) and Tori Amos (timeless) deserve a mention.

Have to admit I have a soft spot for this sort of music. Co-incidentally now during the tourney, I burned Fiona Apple's "Extraordinary Machine" on repeat.

It ended bad, but I love what we started"
