How to handle passive aggressive coworkers

Just started a new job and this girl is very passive aggressive towards me (and towards other's as well).

How do you guys handle this type of coworker or this situation?

Obviously by being passive aggressive back.

Put a bumper sticker she'll dislike on your car (I'll bet you already have this covered) and park next to her every day.

You just have to ignore it the best you can, or if it really gets over the top bring it up to hr. Escalating conflicts at the workplace is never a good idea. One way to help you ignore it is to imagine how torturous it must be to be so spiteful all the time. Later on you could try transferring to a different department/location or whatever

Re: How to handle passive aggressive coworkers

Ignore it or bring it up to HR/your boss if it gets bad. Don't escalate.

That said, considering you have the name "TrumpTrain" and a Filthy Frank avatar, it might be worth considering whether you're casually making statements that require people to agree with your political leanings; those kinds of statements can go unchallenged while still creating a lot of workplace friction, because most people really don't want to get into drawn out political fights at work but also don't want to hear people casually assuming everybody agrees with them that X or Y is awful.

Yeah I have never brought anything up politically and always guide the conversation away from controversial topics such as politics, religion, and personal life. You are right, that type of stuff creates a lot of friction in the workplace. Especially if you work with people with different cultures and backgrounds who may have family in Muslim countries.

anyways, I would be scared to fight back by being passive aggressive, psychological warfare is exhausting.

I ended up having a bunch of drinks with her and we sorted everything out :)
