Looking at the morgue file (http://pastebin.com/raw/RABGCgPS), warlock's mirror seems effective enough as a shield and it only requires 4 Shd to overcome the shield penalties:
It also has the unique ability to reflect things that might otherwise hit you. Would you trade it for the following:
Str+7 would improve the damage output, but at Str:22 it's quite enough as it is. It'd also improve SH, but would require training more Shd. UC being at 22 + Oka's Heroism to bring it up to 27, there are not many other skills to train apart from Fighting for more HP.
