Concept for Xom all the time
I.
1. the amusement/interest level is between -255 and +255. Under 0 mean xom makes nothing!
2. Every turn the player is sleeping +1 interest.
3. Every time the player uses stairway up +40 interest
4. Perhaps when fleeing also some interest points
5. Perhaps when wasting supplies or making stupid things also some points.

6. When killing a monster -10 interest.
7. Perhaps food can also be used to lower xoms interest
8. Perhaps when making something useful...

9. Perhaps every background is different
10. Perhaps when the player has a higher level xom disturbs less often.
II.
Of course xom should not be a buddy like now. There is a real danger to be cast into abyss (0,02% every turn). He likes to polymorph monsters and tranform player and other annoying stuff. So he is annoying... The benifits should not too high. But perhaps playing with Xom gives the player powerful mutations. (so when having some bad mutations it is a good idea to play xom for a while(remove cure mutaion))
