Show how close chanellers are to casting their spell in x

Title says it all; it's an annoying piece of information you can keep track of by reading ctrl+P, but could be more available.

e: to make it more clear, I wanna see something like You see here a Salamander Storm Caller {preparing spell} or something

FR: remove channeled spells, replace them with instant spells so that they actually do something

both of these things were done, several months ago. you can see charge status for orb spiders & giant eyeballs on x, and salamander stormcallers no longer channel, since they were removed.

mission accomplished. good job, everyone.

removing one channeler out of multiple is not in any way equivalent to replacing all channeled spells with instant ones...

IMO it's pretty fuckin' rad that my OP keeps getting thanks for a proposal that's already gone in, after someone explained that it's in. Maybe I should call for a removal of item destruction later.

i honestly haven't seen them since they went in, but some kind of buff there would be plausible. does anyone else have opinions on modern giant eyeballs?

I'd be much happier with orb spiders if they casted instantly and lost the keep-away. Are there people out there who like keep-away? Curse skulls lost that for a reason.

Yeah, the keep away is the most annoying thing. I can deal with entropy weavers corroding me. I can deal with emperor scorpians hitting like a freight train, and wolf spiders like a truck. I can deal with jumping spiders and redbacks swarming me.

But orb spiders? It turns into Benny freakin' Hill.

Remove keepaway, give 'em blink instead. It doesn't make any thematic sense but OoD + blink in a monster is fun.

Make shooting an orb cause them to become exhausted and slow so that the player can catch up to them.

One interesting thing about orb spiders is that they don't actually have ranged AI, which makes it pretty easy to catch them around corners.

Convokers still have channeling right? Do they show their progress?

Also, I propose removing item weight, stalkers, and boring beetles.
