Boots of Flight + Sacrifice Artifice

Sacrificing artifice to Ru removes the ability to activate the boots, but they will still stay on indefinitely.

Just like forgetting dMsl cancels its buff, sacrificing artifice should end indefinite flight from the boot ego.

This is intended. Sacrificing artifice doesn't turn off passive magical properties of any items, just activated ones.

Activating boots of flight shouldn't count as evocations.

It's not quite passive though. The boots give an "evoke flight" or an "end flight" ability.

Sacrificing artifice leaves the player unable to toggle between the two states. Generally this just means that they'll have to deal with vulnerability to airstrike, but if a shambling mangrove drags them down to the ground their flight will end and their boots will become permanently unusable.

Either the player should keep the ability to use the boots' ability or the flight should be canceled when they make the sacrifice.

Or as an alternate solution, toggle the boots on automatically whenever they're re-equipped.
