Now some questions.

Is my weapon good enough for zot and i should enchant it as much as possible or should i try to find something else?
If i need something else where should i look?

What more resistances do i need for zot? All i have right now is what i have on me and some more fire resistances rings in my stash

Do you think i should go for a 3 rune win or risk it even more and try to steal some other runes aor explore some other brances?

And yes i found the crystal plate on D:1 ;)

This thread can be used for similar questions and dilemmas if wanted.

I'm grateful for any advice or help! :)

That's a pretty sweet setup you got there with those mutations. If it's your first time, I'd not risk it and just go for the win; there'll always be more chances for a full-rune win later.

Yeah. Summoning Greater demons randomly, while a little unreliable helps alot in though fights :D

But do you think my weapon is good enough? should i go double fire resistance rings so i have Rf+++ and resist mutation for fire orbs or is a controlled tele ring and 1 fire res ring better? (Btw i read on bot that you could let the orbs of fire live and shoot at you sp the other monsters around you die if you have Rf+++ and resist mut. Is that a failsafe method? can he still hit me with mutations and fire damage?)

Re: What to do? Where to go?

I'd take the rf+++ and resist mut. You don't want to risk fucking with your awesome mutations, having them go away or anything, or god forbid you get a horrible one like berserkitis or something. Honestly, to me, the end-game isn't really very fun; at least, not in comparison to the mid-game. Too many things that you -can't- defend against, no matter how strong or prepared you are. So if it were me I'd be in a hurry to win and get to another character and get back to mid-game. :P

Dunno about the technique you mentioned, never tried it before, myself.

Re: What to do? Where to go?

Your weapon is excellent. You should have no complaints about it; you can pump it up with more enchant weapon scrolls but otherwise it's probably the best possible non-artifact axe.

Crypt is easy. Very easy. There's no reason not to sweep through, and there's some potentially good loot on the fifth level. Tomb is not easy, though.

You're definitely going to want more fire resistance. Orbs of Fire have to be experienced to be understood properly, but you will surely want more rF than you have. Expect to burn a charge of your wand of hasting every time you even see one, and NEVER stick around if there's an Orb of Fire and another monster on-screen at the same time.

Elf probably won't be too bad, although the bottom level is MUCH worse than the other six. There's a good chance for shops or portal vaults that could provide the rF you REALLY want.

Slime, Hells, and Pandemonium are probably going to be pretty rough with your current resistances and lack of reusable ranged attacks, so I wouldn't risk those.

Re: What to do? Where to go?

If you can't handle Elf, then you wouldn't survive Zot anyway. Draconians are basically top-end elves, only with more hit points, and they're popcorn monsters in Zot.

Even the end vault of Crypt should be manageable. Zot has Curse Toes and Ancient Liches already, and Crypt can't really field any non-uniques worse than those.

Unfortunately, I don't think the Demonspawn fire facet gives more levels of fire resistance. Capstone ability of the facet is conservation for scrolls, and he already has that. Leveling up the rest of the way will probably cause Talons 3, but nothing else of note.

My most humble thanks for all the advice ^^ cleared the crypt and first levels of elf but got nothing special so i decided to tackle zot and... I won! my first win! so happy ^^ My next goal is to win a game without a D:1 crystal plate =P

actually i didnt have to much of a problem with them even when i encountered 2 at the same time. Had Rf +++ and Rmut + so they didnt do alot of damage or give me any bad mutations and i spammed greater demons whenever i met one that plus my own natural demons took care of them. But nearly got killed by those blinking lightning golems they where a pain and all the mottled dragons burned my scrolls away even though i had that item fire protection mutation >.<.

Does the Victory dump save anywhere or did i miss that option and it's gone now?

His mutations are innate to his race, he cannot lose them. But he can get some new ones which can be quite bad.

The Amulet of Resist Mutation will protect you in in 9 of 10 cases (90%) from getting a mutation, you will not be immune to mutations.

It would be in the MORGUE folder.
On a Mac Morgue is in Application Support, not sure about Windows or Linux.
