Can you make android tiles version like this?

I'm foreigner. Sorry for my english talking level.

I want to play DCSS in android mobile phone.

In android, good ascii DCSS version already exists.

so... Can you just cover pretty dcss tiles over that android version like first image?

Just, just cover.

Perhaps many people like this.

The guy who made the android version is no longer around, and nobody on the current dev team knows enough about Android to mess with it. We've looked for somebody to replace him, but no luck so far.

edit: Actually I think somebody made an unofficial Tiles version for Android, but again, nobody's working on it.

I know enough about Android to at least use the old system to provide a 0.14.2 and 0.15.0 build, but I really want to get the game ported to a new graphical backend anyway so that it will be easier to get a proper Android version working.
