Green numbers on skills page?

I've just started in on .8 after a long break from SS and I'm noticing some green numbers on the skills page when you (*) show all. Like I have a Demonspawn skills look like this:

Axes 2 (10%) -1 *
Maces & Flails 0 (0%) -1 +4
Polearms 0 (0%) -1 +4

Can anyone shed light on this?

Re: Green numbers on skills page?

This shows aptitudes for skills that crosstrain.
Also there is pink one for those which interfere with each other - fire/ice and air/earth

Re: Green numbers on skills page?

Rather, it's how much you add to calculate your effective aptitude for crosstraining.
(so your m&f and polearms are effectively +3)
aptitudes work on a log scale such that adding 4 doubles how well you train (and subtracting 4 halves it).
(so +3 is twice as good as -1)

Re: Green numbers on skills page?

It used to be documented in the skill menu help, but one of my recent change broke it. I'm fixing it.
<+Grunt> You dereference an invalid pointer! Ouch! That really hurt! The game dies...
