Bots in 0.14 tournament

It's interesting to have a look at the bots. xw (captain), qw and rw play in the 0.14 tournament as well. Afaik they are programmed by elliptic.

As crawl is very complex I think it's a lot of work to program bots for the game. Is there a difference in source code between xw, qw and rw? If so, do they have different strategies?

xw is N78291's bot, qw is elliptic's and rw is rwbarton's. xw and qw are both entirely written in Lua in their rcfiles. I believe that qw is optimised for GrBe which it has won once online and a few times offline, xw I don't think has gotten as far but does some fun things like worshipping Chei (it vaguely knows how to use the abilities, even) and Beogh occasionally. rw is written in Haskell I believe, I have even less of a clue how it works than the others.
