.ttyrecs

If it doesn't fit anywhere else, it belongs here. Also, come here if you just need to get hammered.

If there's a good .ttyrec that worth a watch, post/link it here please 8-)
Thanks.

Re: .ttyrecs

The ttyrecs can be found at http://crawl.akrasiac.org/rawdata/ for CAO games and http://crawl.develz.org/ttyrecs/ for CDO games. The easiest way to figure out which ttyrecs belong to a specific game is to use the bots in ##crawl.

And How I can i do that? I entered on your .ttyrecs page and don't know wich one to download...
Actually I'm downloading the heaviest files, but they are just you playing an old version of crawl and getting xl 7 or so... How can I download a complete .ttyrec of one of yours ascensions?

Re: .ttyrecs

off the top of anyone's head, can anyone recommend any people in general to watch or even your own victories. I am just curious in watching other players tactics and playing styles. Also, I am sort of lazy and do not want to troll through all those folders ;)

Yeah, that's why I entered 78291's page. He's a good player with lot of ascensions... but I just don't know wich file I download... I downloaded some files and they are from 78291 playing an old crawl version and these games are incomplete.

Re: .ttyrecs

i just started randomly going through folders that were modified recently, then sorted those recently modified folders by file size. I can only assume that the bigger the file, the farther they got.

Re: .ttyrecs

the irc bots might help you find relevant games. Check this and that. I've never used those commands so I can't provide much more help. I think they are only available through IRC, but I'm not sure. Would be nice to have a web access to it btw, like for the knowledge bots.
<+Grunt> You dereference an invalid pointer! Ouch! That really hurt! The game dies...

Thanks, I'll have to give this a try in a little while. It's been a while since I was on the ol' IRC
