Help - "Another game is already in progress using this save"

Hey all,

First time poster here, grateful for any help anyone can give.

I've been playing webtiles on crawl.s-z.org; my internet connection dropped out. When it came back up, I reloaded the page (as I always do when this happens), but instead of bringing me back to the lobby and letting me re-enter my game, it now shows my game as in-progress. I can watch my own game (which of course has no moves being made!), but when I try to play, I get the message "Another game is already in progress using this save! Hit any key to exit...".

Is there any way to either (1) force my way back into my game or (2) log my game out from the outside so I can reenter it? I'd hate to lose the game I've been playing--I'm only lev 10, but it's becoming a real interesting one...

Thanks!

This has happened to me as well. I waited 24 hours and it reset.

Are you still having the problem? I see no games running under your account.

I'm confronting the same bug.?

Interned crash during a 0.11 Webtiles session, came back to webtiles page, can log in, can choose 0.11/0.10..but after i have the " Another game is already in progress using this save! Hit any key to exit...;"

Is there any other solution than waiting 24h (lol) like Xuaxua? Is there not any flush dump safety after connection loss in your routines?

Go to ##crawl-dev and ask |amethyst.
<+Grunt> You dereference an invalid pointer! Ouch! That really hurt! The game dies...

It's *supposed to* give you a prompt saying it will terminate the save in 15 seconds if you don't press a key. Not sure why it doesn't do this for everyone... I haven't had much luck reproducing it myself.

I applied edlothiol's HTTP-timeout patch to tornado, and configured CSZO webtiles with a 10-minute timeout on stale connections. Along with a few recent webtiles fixes for ghost processes, that should fix most of these kinds of bugs. Open an issue on Mantis if they reappear.
