auto-inscribing objects taken from unique enemies

Hi, I've got a tiny suggestion, but (I hope) a cute one:

as many players, I've been annotating the presence of unique enemies in the dungeon levels with '!'. This is now automatic in 0.10, and much appreciated.

Another thing I used to do (and still do), is to inscribe the stuff I take from dead uniques with their name. Completely useless, but fun (well, on rare occasions it can be useful as well, not to mix them up with similar items, since some characters often drop powerful stuff).

In short: can we introduce aoto-inscribing for these objects? Pretty easy to implement, not annoying for people who don't care, great fun for the ones who do!

thanks,
S

Hm, I like it. If there are no objections, I'll dish out a tiny implementable on this. Adds to flavour, in my opinion.

I, too, think that these tiny, cute additions go a long way towards making a game feel more "right". :)

Fine idea, since I already manually do this for my own protection with Sonja's and Psyche's weapon drops.

I went ahead and submitted a patch that implements this. Hopefully it will be accepted and merged into 0.10.
