Strange auto explore issue

ok so ive had this issue since 8.0. one day my auto-explore just started to automatically go to the next interesting spot as opposed to showing me all the moves beforehand. ive checked my options and they are the exact same as webtiles, though when i play in webtiles it shows me every move. this is really bugging/stumping me. ive tried using my apple search thing to see if there are any old init. files but i cant find it. please help! it would be awesome to see each move!

Re: Strange auto explore issue

are you sure that travel_delay and explore_delay are set properly? (and don't forget that a # makes the line meaningless, using the default value instead)

explore_delay = -1 means that you'll have instant exploration, like what you're describing. Change it to a higher number should work.

Re: Strange auto explore issue

It did that to me once too, and I couldn't figure out how to fix it short of a reinstall, so you may want to try that if you aren't in the middle of a game or attached to your ghosts.

Re: Strange auto explore issue

I have two laptops. Auto works fine on one and chugs along slowly on the other, especially when it is connected to a monitor.

Possibly yours is just fine, but running FASTER than you expect, giving you the idea that it is running instantly when it is actually just running super-fast?
