chardump update

I've had issues with chardumps since I started playing 0.19 tiles. Sometimes, even though the victory is recorded within crawl, the text file in /morgue is seriously lagging behind. Case in point : got a Qazlal 5 rune win last night (currently playing 0.21 version). The .txt is about Abyss:3, level 26, 4 runes. Is there a command that can create an updated chardump somehow? *Offline tiles
Come to think of it, should I post this under technical or somewhere else entirely?
Thanks in advance!

Re: chardump update

Dunno why it's not doing it when you ascend, but you can press "#" ingame to make a fresh charfile.

I'll try and make a habit of pressing # in the future. Thanks, pseudo 8-)

Re: chardump update

It sounds like you might actually be looking at the wrong file. The file "username.txt" is only updated for a playing character by using # or saving the game. When you end a game (die/win/quit), a different morgue file with a more distinct name including the date is generated, e.g. something like"morgue-username-20190113-183522.txt". This should be in the same directory as the other one.
